It`s a coupe. I do my own work (former drag racer/engine builder), but
these computer controlled cars can easily stump me. I need to look under
the hood again and see whether it was a LT4 engine. I saw on the internet
that the LT4 has a red/orange powder coated intake manifold.
Thanks,

all 96 corvettes that had the LT4 were all 6 speeds so if its a automatic
its a LT1
computer controlled cars are not that hard to work on....best thing to do is
get you a factory service manual...cost about $100 and the best thing you
can buy...the books explain it all and have troubleshooting flowcharts that
make diagnosis a breeze.
76k miles is nothing...my 96 has 93k miles and has had less problems than my
brothers 96 CE with 40k miles.
my brother and I have had a couple vettes with 160k+ miles and still going
strong.

I`ve had a 96 CE, LT4 for a little over three years with a 60k+ miles on it
now and it has been the most trouble free car I`ve ever owned, just regular
maintained that I do myself with the help of the service manual. M&R cost
have been almost nothing compared to any of the fast European cars.

Last "Cars" Post on Wordpress: Title: Project Fatality... continued Date: Sat, 26 Sep 2009 20:00:43 +0000 Author: gwerks
Well where did we get to then… Last time we updated this project we were wheeling the Audi out of Chris at Kustom Kolors booth after achieving the matt finish we were looking for! This was the Friday before the Players show where the car was to be debuted. Then it all kind of went wrong for a while!
I had this crazy idea that 20’s would work on the car after selling a set of 19″s the same style that week.. How wrong could i of been. Whilst an awesome wheel we just couldn’t get the car down low enough on these wheels once the tyres were mounted ( A story in itself but lets save that one!)
The wheels (20″ Rs4’s with Yoko S-drive’s.)

When test fitted before the tyres we were feeling very smug with ourselves and though we had it nailed oh well you cant win them all, It did look nice though at this stage.

But it wasn’t to be so with a few hours before leaving for the Players show in Essex it was stressful times (For which i apoligise for my grumpyness to everyone). Chris had an Idea…. What about them wheels of Ollies S4… Humm they couldn’t work could they…? At this stage i was stressed and couldn’t even be botherd anymore but after a call to Ollie we pulled one off to give it a try and damm i think we could be out of the shit! Game on for tomorrow we will go to the ball! (I Have to say a HUGE thankyou to Ollie for helping us out!). Getting to the show was stress free with a carfull we arrived at the show to be greated with this! More on: http://gwerks.wordpress.com/2009/09/26/project-fatality-continued/

Title: GT-R35 かわいそうに。。 Date: Fri, 25 Sep 2009 22:49:39 +0000 Author: jdmsteve
I dont find this photoset entertaining, nor any humorous words can be thought up to describe the unfortunate incident. I personally do not know the owner of this car, but i feel for him…deeply. Those who have been jacked i the past should be rather disgusted at these kinds of sights, and should feel a deepened hatred towards those who steal.
The brighter side of this story that, im assuming-
the owner can afford a GT-R, so can afford full coverage insurance,
The thieves will have a VERY hard rime selling the rims (rare)
atleast they didnt take the whole car
